I purchased my Nesco Dehydrator a couple years ago from Amazon and love it! I use it for dehydrating fruit, for making veggies chips, jerky, fruit rollups and drying herbs. There are lots of recipes online and I’ve shared a few in this post.
My favorite is apple chips and make them whenever I come across a few wilted apples in the back of my fridge. I wash them, cut them with my apple corer, slice them into about 1/2″ pieces, sprinkle with cinnamon and let them dehydrate overnight for about 12 hours.
Dehydrating vegetables like zucchini and sweet potatoes make a great healthy snack!
Dehydrating is great way to preserve all the wonderful herbs you grow in the summer.
